Self Guided
Ensuring your unguided walking holiday stays on the right footing
As long-established, locally based specialists in the hospitality sector, we recognise that many people coming to the Isle of Man prefer to walk under their own steam, independent of any guides. Self-guided walking is extremely popular here.
Even so, many visitors still require assistance with their travel and accommodation. However long you would wish to set aside for your Isle of Man self-guided walking holiday, we specialise in arranging bespoke trips. Let us know your preference and budget and we’ll take care of the rest!

Getting About

A World Biosphere Region
Unique UNESCO recognition - The Isle of Man is the only entire country in the world that has received this prestigious accolade.
Walk all year round
Thanks to its temperate climate (it doesn’t get too hot or too cold), the Isle of Man is a great place to walk at anytime of the year.
Getting to and from the Island
You can reach the Island by ferry (on the Steam Packet from Liverpool or Heysham) or by air. Daily flights to and from the Island from London, Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow, Belfast and Dublin.
The Isle of Man is a walking wonderland!
If you like being in nature and appreciate tranquil, scenic settings, we’d thoroughly recommend an Isle of Man self-guided walking holiday or short break.
From Beaches to Mountain Tops
Depending on the length of your stay, you might want to attempt all or part of the The Raad ny Foillan – the 95 mile coastal footpath that circumvents the Island. Or how about hiking up Snaefell – at just over 2000 feet, the Island’s highest point and where, on a clear day, you can see the 7 Kingdom
