Our base for the week will be on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park overlooking the Cleveland hills near the village of Great Ayton; birthplace of Captain James Cook. Picturesque, tranquil, wonderful - this area of Yorkshire is a breath of fresh air. We will discover historic abbeys, pretty villages, the stunning Cleveland Hills and of course Fish and Chips in Whitby.
